Thai Children’s Day - Nat always “all in!”

I first heard about God in elementary school when someone came to share about Him. At the age of fifteen I went down to Bangkok where I worked as a maid for 4 years but then lost my job and found myself without work or money. A friend had gone to one of the Abundant Life Center Christmas Parties and took me there where I found a place to stay and employment sewing. They had cell groups and worship together that I attended but I never wanted to stay at ALC a long time; maybe 3 months, until I found a new place to live. I didn’t want to believe in or know God but His love saturated me when I joined the group to worship Him. As I got to know Him more I grew to believe in Him and I saw His love as some of my relatives came from the northeast to Bangkok and lived at or joined in the activities of the Abundant Life Center. I found value in my life and in others through the love of God. I was a poor person who had been overlooked but God gave me value when I came to live at ALC.

With the Covid 19 shutdown of ALC Crafts, Nat decided to strike out on her own and has been employed as a housemaid for a nearby condominium complex. Although she no longer works at ALC she continues to be an active member of ALC church and longs for face to face worship again.

Nat’s father passed away during this past year and his death, along with a myriad of other family problems, keeps Nat on her knees in prayer for them. We were sorry that with Covid restrictions no one could go back to her village to support Nat during this time of grief.
